We only use mushroom fruits – we do not use mycelium. Mycelium contains less active Beta-glucans and is inseparable from the substrate. The fruiting body of the mushroom contains high concentrations of Beta-glucans, triterpenes, and other special compounds. Most mushroom supplement brands will use mycelium because it’s cheap.
